💡 Standard Seoul medium taxi: published inputs and model limits
The Seoul fare notice lists a daytime base of ₩4,800 through 1.6 km, then ₩100 per 131 m. These standard-medium rates took effect on February 1, 2023 at 04:00; the notice was checked on October 15, 2026.
For 22:00–23:00 and 02:00–04:00, the published base is ₩5,800 through 1.6 km and the distance increment is ₩120 per 131 m. For 23:00–02:00, the base is ₩6,700 and the increment is ₩140. The model uses each published base directly.
Model assumptions: 1 mile = 1.609344 km. Convert first, reject distances above 200 km, then round to the nearest meter. Beyond 1,600 m, this model charges each commenced 131 m step. This step rule and nearest-meter rounding are assumptions, not verified meter replication.
The result is a distance-only model subtotal before final meter/payment rounding. It excludes slow-time charges, boundary surcharges, tolls and app fees, and does not handle trips crossing time bands. It is not a fare ceiling, airport quote or model for Deluxe, premium or van services.

This tool does not provide an airport route quote. It models distance for a standard Seoul medium taxi in one time band only; route-specific charges, other service types and trips outside that scope need separate confirmation.
Are expressway toll fees included in the taxi meter?
The displayed distance-only subtotal excludes tolls. No universal airport toll is assumed. The Seoul notice describes actual toll charges separately; check the applicable route and service terms.
