What these amounts mean

The official K-ETA application fee is 10,000 KRW per person. The current fee guide says additional online processing fees may apply, generally about 3%. This planner does not automatically add that approximate percentage, infer a VAT amount or use a fixed exchange rate. Only the published government base is calculated from the count.

The optional comparison uses two whole-group KRW totals you provide. Check that both cover the same paid applicants, application service and included government, online and service charges. The result is the signed difference between those entered totals; it does not prove savings, overpayment, legitimacy, approval or payment.

The official guide generally gives a three-year validity period, shortened by earlier passport expiry; a reissued passport or other specified changes can require a new application. Authorization validity is different from the permitted stay on a single visit, and K-ETA approval does not guarantee entry. This planner does not assess your actual approval or expiry.

The official temporary-exemption notice checked on 2026-11-05 extends the period for currently covered countries/regions through 2026-12-31 KST. This is not an indefinite exemption or a nationality decision by this tool. Covered travelers may still apply voluntarily, in which case the application fee is charged. Check official conditions again before travel.

A covered traveler applying voluntarily is still charged the application fee.

Does this tool confirm a three-year approval or permitted stay?

No. The official general validity is three years or the earlier passport expiry, subject to applicable conditions and changes. Validity is not the permitted stay per visit; approval does not guarantee entry. This tool does not determine approval, actual validity or stay rights.
