Cookies & Local Preferences
Use Korea uses lightweight browser storage (cookies & localStorage) to remember basic preferences (such as light/dark mode theme selection) and to measure website traffic. You can freely block or delete cookies in your browser settings; all calculation tools will continue to function fully without them.
Google AdSense & Advertising Disclosure
We use Google AdSense and third-party advertising partners to display advertisements across our site. Google may use third-party cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visit to this and other websites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings.
Web Analytics (GA4)
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our calculators and guides and to help prioritize updates. Google may process cookies, browser and session identifiers, device information, and interaction information. Use Korea uses aggregate reports to guide improvements.
On the service dashboard (/dashboard/), Google measurement starts only after you choose to allow it. The selection event uses a fixed service code; it excludes search text, your input, and the full destination URL. You can turn off new dashboard measurement in its settings. Requests already sent or started cannot be recalled. These dashboard controls do not change the analytics settings on other pages.
Direct Inquiries ("Ask a local")
Inquiry forms marked FormSubmit send the contact details and message you enter directly to FormSubmit, an external form-processing service. The Ask-a-local forms on legal guides use the Use Korea inquiry endpoint, which may forward those details to Slack or Telegram when configured. These providers process the submitted data under their own policies. An accepted request does not confirm email delivery or a reply.
Direct email links and the partnership proposal builder prepare a draft for you to review and send using your email service. The partnership builder does not automatically submit your proposal. The inquiry draft tools do not save your entered messages to this website's local storage; your browser or email service may have its own draft or autofill settings.
Do not include passwords, payment-card details, passport copies, or confidential documents in an initial inquiry. Submitting an inquiry is not a signup for a marketing mailing list. For questions about your submitted information, contact igozigu@gmail.com.
